St. David's HealthCare to acquire 10 urgent care centers in Central Texas

Austin, TX — St. David's HealthCare announced today it will acquire nine FastMed Urgent Care centers in the Austin area and one MedPost Urgent Care center in San Marcos. The urgent care centers will be rebranded as St. David's CareNow Urgent Care clinics later this year.

“Upon completion, this acquisition will allow us to expand our geographic footprint, providing patients with convenient, quality care closer to home,” David Huffstutler, president and chief executive officer of St. David's HealthCare, said. “These urgent care clinics will also provide additional capacity to safely care for patients as Central Texas continues to grow, filling the gap between primary care physicians and hospital emergency rooms.”

The newly acquired urgent care clinics are located in the following areas:

3607 Manor Road (Austin)
1920 E. Riverside Drive (Austin)
3311 N. Lamar Blvd. (Austin)
717 Hwy. 71 West (Bastrop)
4506 Williams Drive (Georgetown)

14008 Shadowglen Blvd. (Manor)
3705 N. Main St., Suite 103 (Taylor)
