Our medical diagnostic services

We offer a range of diagnostic testing options so we can quickly discover the underlying cause of illnesses and injuries.

Our comprehensive lab services include:

  • Biopsies
  • Blood tests
  • Bone density scans, including dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA)
  • Breast diagnostics
  • DNA diagnostic lab tests
  • Heart scans (coronary calcium scans)

DEXA scans

DEXA scans are the most accurate and comprehensive way to test bone density. These tests are used to diagnose osteoporosis and guide orthopedic care. Because osteoporosis is associated with reduced estrogen levels, DEXA scans are often completed at regular intervals to watch for rapid bone loss.

The results of these scans can also be used as a predictor of breast cancer. Your doctor may recommend regular DEXA scans if you are at high risk for breast cancer or have had issues with past mammograms.
