At St. David's HealthCare we understand the importance of giving back to our community, and we have a very unique business model that allows us to do just that. Our organization is a unique partnership between the local non-profit St. David's Foundation and a hospital management company.

The care and service that we provide to the community through the work in our hospitals extends well beyond our walls. Proceeds from the operations of our hospitals and facilities fund St. David's Foundation — and the Foundation invests those dollars right back into the community. Last year, St. David's Foundation gave approximately $75 million to agencies and local safety net clinics throughout the region to improve health and healthcare for all Central Texans. Since the inception of the St. David's HealthCare partnership in 1997, that amount has totaled more than $450 million.

Additionally, St. David's HealthCare partners with community organizations in a variety of ways:
