Our Joint Replacement team consists of a board certified orthopedic surgeon, specialized nurses and technicians, experienced physical and occupational therapists, case manager, social worker (if needed) and a variety of specialists including registered dietitians, lab and x-ray technologists and other staff to make your hospital stay comfortable.
What to Expect
Prior to joint replacement surgery, you will learn about the procedure and rehabilitation through our Joint Express Education Class. During a pre-op visit to the hospital, you will have blood work and other pre-op testing. Your physician will provide regarding medications, diet, smoking and dental work. And you may start pre-operative exercises to prepare the joint.
