St. David's North Austin Medical Center names Jeremy Barclay as new CEO
Barclay, who has served as the CEO of St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center for seven years, will transition to his new role on June 10.
St. David’s North Austin Medical Center has named Jeremy Barclay as the facility’s new chief executive officer. Barclay, who has served as the CEO of St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center for seven years, will transition to his new role on June 10.
“Jeremy’s knowledge of our market and healthcare system, combined with his demonstrated success in managing hospital operations and building positive stakeholder relationships, makes him well-prepared to take on this new role,” David Huffstutler, president and chief executive officer of St. David’s HealthCare, said. “I look forward to the many contributions he will make to help us further advance the programs at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center, including St. David’s Surgical Hospital, St. David’s Women’s Center of Texas and St. David’s Children’s Hospital.”
During his time at St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center, Barclay helped to launch the Heart Valve Clinic and TAVR program at Heart Hospital of Austin at St. David’s Round Rock, and he secured and led a $53-million expansion project to add 34 beds, four operating rooms and a shelled floor for future growth. Additionally, under his leadership, the hospital was named among the Top 50 Cardiovascular Hospitals by Fortune/PINC AI™ in 2024, and it received Healthgrades’ Patient Safety Excellence Award for achieving a top 10% ranking from 2022-2024.
Barclay earned his master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Texas at Arlington and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Arkansas State University. He has served as a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives for the past two decades.
