About St. David's North Austin Medical Center

Our hospital is an acute care facility dedicated to the highest level of women’s health services. The facility also features a 24-hour emergency department, weight loss center, cardiology care and neurosurgery, as well as kidney transplants and both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation.

St. David's North Austin Medical Center, which is part of St. David's HealthCare, is a 441-bed multi-specialty hospital. 

We are home to St. David's Children's Hospital

St. David's Surgical Hospital, which opened in October 2016, is a campus of St. David's North Austin Medical Center.

Our hospital offers maternity and newborn care with Level I, II and III Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) at the adjacent St. David’s Women’s Center of Texas and minimally invasive gynecological surgery at Texas Robotic Surgery for Women. We also offer the Texas Institute for Robotic Surgery, the Bariatric Center, Heart and Vascular Center, neurology, neurosurgery and a kidney transplant program.
