Emergency care in the St. David's network

Physicians and nurses at our freestanding emergency room (ER) in Leander, Texas, provide 24/7 emergency care. We work closely with local transportation providers to deliver convenient and quick treatment.

Our ER has 12 multipurpose exam rooms, including one trauma room. The facility is a Hypothermia Center of Excellence. This means we can provide therapeutic hypothermia treatment for heart attack patients. We also have an on-site diagnostic lab and imaging services. These facilities are staffed by board-certified physicians and trauma-certified registered nurses.

The emergency medical team can treat all serious symptoms and conditions, including:

  • Dehydration
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Fractures and sprains
  • Severe burns
  • Snake bites
  • Stroke symptoms

Our freestanding ER is northwest of the San Gabriel Parkway and Highway 183A intersection. You can turn into our emergency center from either road. Free parking is available outside our main entrance.

The 11,200-square-foot emergency center will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, as a full-service emergency department. It is located at 601 St. David’s Loop, between Highway 183 and the 183A Toll Road on San Gabriel Parkway.
