To help you prepare for your visit, we've put together helpful resources and clear answers to frequently asked questions.
Visiting hours at our hospital
Our visiting hours are from 5:00am and 8:00pm. Visitors under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
We allow up to two visitors at a time inside critical care units. In all other units, four visitors are allowed at a time during visiting hours.
We allow one overnight visitor for the following services or circumstances:
- Advocates for the elderly, disabled or impaired
- End-of-life care
- Laboring mothers
- Neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)
- Pediatrics
- Undergoing surgery or a procedure
Visitation restrictions
Circumstances may allow for specific exceptions to any visitation restrictions described on this webpage. Those circumstances include religious visitation as well as a designated support person for a patient with a disability to provide assistance with communication or other necessary components of the patient's treatment. All persons entering under an exception remain subject to appropriate infection control protocols.
Atrium Gift Shop
Our volunteers operate a beautiful gift shop on the first level, adjacent to the Atrium. All proceeds benefit charity organizations within the Greater Austin Area and provide scholarships to students in the healthcare field. The gift shop offers snack items, fresh flowers, fine gifts, greeting cards, magazines, personal necessities and comfort items.
Gift shop hours:
Monday through Friday: 8:00am – 8:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am – 4:30pm
Sunday: 10:00am – 4:30pm
