Volunteers are a vital part of our healthcare team. Whether you are volunteering to give back to your community, to explore healthcare careers, or to utilize your skills in a new environment, you will be enriched by the difference you make and the lives you touch. Your role as a volunteer will help to support and enhance the exceptional care given by our professionals.
Take a few moments to review our various volunteer programs detailed on the St. David’s Medical Center volunteer webpage. The online application can be accessed within each program’s section. Once your application is received, a Volunteer Services staff member will contact you to set up an interview. All applicants must then complete required health and safety screenings.
Currently all volunteers attend one of our monthly Volunteer Orientations which are typically held on a weekday evening. However in the very near future, volunteers may choose to review the orientation modules, agreement packet, volunteer handbook and complete the required education online. If online orientation is preferable, please discuss this with Volunteer Services during your interview.
