Volunteer program

Applications for Adult Volunteers are accepted year round. However, offers for volunteering are offered when volunteer positions open. To become a volunteer at Heart Hospital of Austin please fill out our online application.

The Heart Hospital Volunteer program is designed to support and enhance the exceptional care given by our professionals. Volunteering provides you the opportunity to give back to your community, meet and network with new people, explore healthcare career changes, and/or utilize your skills in a new environment.

Orientation process for volunteers

  • Submit application
  • Attend volunteer interview
  • Complete background investigation
  • Provide proof of immunization
  • Attend a Market/Facility Orientation
  • Receive appropriate training to your assigned area of service
