Thomas C. Bohmfalk attended Rice University and received his medical degree from the Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. He completed his internship and residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.
Dr. Bohmfalk specializes in Family Medicine and is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice. He has been a member of the Georgetown Medical Clinic since 1979 and received the Frist Humanitarian Award from H.C.A. in 2012. He is a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association and on the board of T.I.M.E. for Christ, Inc. and T.I.M.E for Christ Global. Dr. Bohmfalk is also a lifetime member of the Sons of the Republic of Texas.
He and his wife Helen have two children and 3 grandchildren. He looks forward to sharing the joy of hunting and fishing with those grandchildren as they get older, as well as his passion for literature and music (all kinds, especially classical). Throughout his life he has played the piano, cornet, pipe organ, and guitar.
Dr. Bohmfalk is an active member in his church and teaches weekly Bible studies. He makes annual mission trips to bring medical care and the Gospel to remote villages in Honduras, and has also participated in missions to Cuba, Peru, Romania, and 25 years of missions to rural Mexico.
