We are an outpatient surgical center that has served San Marcos and the surrounding community for over 13 years. Our surgical facility is unique in that in 2013 we brought together amazingly talented physicians, HCA/St. David’s and Central Texas Medical Center as owners who have the vision to see how working together can create an extraordinary experience for our patients. HCA facilities include approximately 165 hospitals and 115 freestanding surgery centers in 20 states and England. We provide excellence in patient safety, satisfaction, convenience, and innovation. With the St. David's partnership, we bring advanced healthcare to the smaller communities. Our center has 4 fully equipped operating rooms and 1 treatment room. We provide highly trained personnel and state of the art equipment. “Our top priority is to treat every patient as if they were a member of our own family.” said Laurie Bailey, Administrator of the center. As a result of this reputation, area physicians turn to us for excellent outcomes and patient satisfaction.
The mission of San Marcos Surgery Center and St. David’s HealthCare is to provide exceptional care to every patient every day with a spirit of warmth, friendliness and personal pride.
Patients and their physicians choose San Marcos Surgery Center because they understand that St. David’s HealthCare is dedicated to providing surgical services that meet high standards of quality and safety. In order to ensure our patients receive care consistent with these standards:
