AUSTIN, Texas—St. David’s HealthCare announced recently that Jeremy Barclay has been named chief executive officer of St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center, effective July 31, 2017. Barclay replaced Deborah Ryle, who announced her retirement in June.
Prior to joining St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center, Barclay served in a number of leadership positions including chief operating officer of Cedar Park Regional Medical Center.
“With Jeremy’s knowledge of our market, combined with his experience and demonstrated leadership skills, I am confident he will make an excellent addition to our organization,” David Huffstutler, president and chief executive officer of St. David’s HealthCare, said. “I look forward to working alongside him as he takes the helm at St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center.”
Most recently, Barclay served as administrator and chief operating officer of Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Arkansas. Other leadership positions include chief administrative officer of Bay Area Regional Medical Center in Webster, Texas; and, chief operating officer of Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte, West Virginia. He began his healthcare career as an administrative resident at Medical Center of Lewisville, an HCA facility in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Barclay earned his master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Arkansas State University in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center
